Valentine’s Day & Wedding Day
Valentine's Day & Wedding Day
Today, February 14, 2004, it’s my Valentine’s Day, but a differen day it was an amazing awesome day and fear to be married and we wanted to be together for us. Yeah, soon my beautiful sexy pregnant wife and loved her and our family. When to St. Louis American newspaper for photographer Bill Beene at Chase Park Plaza Barbershop, a barber, and soon bent down to ask her, my girlfriend, to be my wife for our marriage? So I checked on her, and asked her please check out. St. Louis American newspaper usually comes a newspaper on each week on Thursday. My girlfriend saw to page and said, “Yes.” And I smiled.
Ask my friend and my pastor, Dr. Don McNeal of Hopewell Missionary Baptist Church on Taylor Avenue and Euclid Avenue, for our wedding, Saturday, February 14, 2004, and he said, "Yes." Ask my dad, Arglister L. Palmer III would you be able to stand with me for my soon to be wife, Connie at Hopewell Missionary Baptist Church with Pastor Dr. Don McNeal for our wedding on Saturday, February 14, 2004, my dad said, “Yes.” Then said my father-in-law, Mr. Cornelius Weaver, and asked him, to walk with his daughter, Connie on Saturday, February 14, 2004, and my father-in-law said, “Yes.” Told my family we’re getting married at Hopewell Missionary Baptist Church by Pastor Dr. Don McNeal; they all said, “Yes. we’ll be here for us.”
Told
my friend, Rob Sills needed to get a wedding ring. He told me to go to
International Diamond in Clayton, MO for Sean, he owns it. So Rob and myself
went to International Diamonds for Sean and showed me different types of diamonds
like emerald, sapphire, princess, pear or a cluster? I saw the cluster, it was
shaped like a square but rounded the edge and it was beautiful and told Sean,
“Yes she’ll love it.” Told my friend, Rob, “I want it but I have to pay
each week to pay it, but just want her to know I love her!” Rob said, told Sean
to give it to you and you can pay him to money how you figure that out to Sean.
Man, I stood up and grabbed my friend and loved all of the people that have helped
me through want in my life, and I teared up. So many has helped me through this
and yes, paid Sean for money each week and I paid it for my wife, cluster
diamond white gold wedding ring.
Early on Saturday, February 14, 2004 went to tuxedo on Delmar and already knew what suit I wanted: it wore a black tuxedo jacket and a velvet tie with cuff links wearing my white tuxedo shirt and I felt great. I got home and put on everything with beautiful cologne and my underwear for my beautiful girl to be my soon wife. I had this red string, a rope tied to it to my cluster wedding ring, and had it inside my pocket to pull it off later. Went to church always thinking, “Man I need to get through this.”
Walked inside the church, and Pastor, Dr. Don McNeal and my dad, my friend and my pastor, too! We talked about what I wanted to tell my soon-to-be wife; I have something I want to show her as a present? All of most of my family came, and I stood up for my friend, and lover and our family. I stood next to my dad in the chapel right behind my friend, Pastor Dr. Don McNeal, and saw my father-in-law bring her to the chapel; she was amazing with her baby inside of her and saw my son, Ryan, 1-year-old, hanging on to mother-in-law, Ms. Janice and family and friends. It was beautiful all around us. We spoke to each other and I pulled the red rope hanging my beautiful cluster white gold wedding ring and she said it, and bent down to cry. I told her I want to be apart of your life, and she applied.
Always still love her through everything with Valentine’s Day and our wedding day.
Be Blessed
